Tignes Les Brévières is situated in the beautiful and unspoilt Vanoise National Park at an altitude of 1550 making it warmer than the rest of the Tignes resort. Enjoy the wildlife and breathtaking scenery by hill walking or rambling the hills valleys and lakeside tracks that surround Les Brévières.
There is a host of relaxing activities for those warm lazy summer days:
Sailing, canoeing and pedal boating on the lake
Mountain Climbing
Mountain biking - during the summer season a number of the ski lifts open to transport mountain bikers and walkers up the mountain. It is possible to hire mountain bikes in Tignes
Summer Skiing - Espace Killy has 2 glaciers one on the Tignes side and one that can be accessed from Val d'Isere
Fishing - The Lac de Tignes is well stocked with fresh water fish
Swimming and fitness centre
Visit the Ice Museum, the Glacier and enjoy lunch at an altitude of 3000m by taking the funicular railway from Tignes Val Claret
Golf - The highest golf course in Europe can be found in Tignes Le Lac less than 15 minutes from the Chalet. This is a full 18 hole course set close to the lake amongst magnificent surroundings with the mountains rising from each side of the course.
Skiing - Summer skiing on the Grand Motte glacier is available throughout June, July and August.
