Chalet Le Pavot

During 2008 the chalet was furnished to a very high standard using locally built furniture and materials creating a very comfortable warm and relaxing environment

Accomodation - Ground Floor

Chalet Le Pavot is furnished using traditional materials with most of the furniture constructed from aged solid wood. All windows have wooden shutters making it feel very cosy in winter and keeping the sun at bay during those lazy summer mornings.

The Chalet has underfloor central heating and feels very warm and cosy when coming in from a good days' skiing.

The large “Sejour” has a solid aged wood table (3.2m long!) for 15 people to dine in comfort or you can relax in the comfortable chairs and sofas next to the fire. There is a flat screen television and DVD fully equipped with Satellite TV so that you don't miss out on your favourite programs whilst you are on holiday. There is also a music system so don't forget to bring a few CDs! Double doors lead you out on to a covered patio area where you can relax and enjoy the breath taking views.

The 11.5m² kitchen is fitted with luxury rustic units and an "island" that can double as a breakfast bar all fitted brand new in 2008! There is more than adequate space to prepare food and it is well fitted out with plenty of storage space, a dishwasher, hob, oven, microwave oven, and fridge freezer. The chalet is fully equipped to cook for 15 people and dine in comfort. A corridor leads to the games room shower room and WC.

Sleeping Accommodation

All of the bedrooms have exposed beams and wood clad ceilings and are fully carpeted. Colourful rugs that blend naturally with the furnishings give the rooms a snug feeling of warmth and comfort.  All of the beds in the chalet are of high quality and no expense has been spared on the mattresses so we think you will get a great night’s sleep!

Plump pillows and soft thick duvets add to the feeling of wellbeing and comfort created in the chalet.

The bedding in the chalet has been designed for maximum flexibility and comfort.

Most of the beds in the chalet have pull out storage draws underneath, combined with wardrobes and chests of drawers there is more than adequate storage space for clothes and personal possessions.

Vanoise Room

Vanoise is furnished with bunk beds (large enough for both adults and children at 0.8m x 2.0m).  There are two double bunks and one pull out bed, in all this room can sleep five. A double bed can be created by pulling the bunks together if required.

Pine Tree Room and Snowflake Room

Both bedrooms are equipped with a double bed (1.6m x 2.0m) that can be split into singles, reading lamps, solid wood wardrobes and a chest of draws. You will also find two (80cm x 1.9m)  fold down bunk beds built in traditional materials in keeping with the Savoyard style furnishings.

Please note that in Snowflake if you choose to use all four beds the double has to be configured as two singles to give room for the fold down bunks.

On the first floor there is a large family bathroom equipped with sink, bath, heated towel rail and shower in the bath. A separate WC is located next to the bathroom.

On the ground floor there is a shower room with basin. A separate WC is located next to the shower room.

There are two further shower rooms located adjacent to the Sauna in the basement.

Basement room 1 has a washing machine, large basin and boot room/changing area with cupboards, benches, and a boot warming rack and ski rack. There is plenty of room for hanging wet ski gear. When returning from skiing access to the chalet is through a side entrance which leads straight to the boot room alleviating the problem of snowy ski boots inside the living area.

Basement Room 2 accommodates a traditional wooden sauna, the rest of the room is fully tiled to create a “wet room” with two shower rooms for those that wish to shower immediately after skiing.

Games Room

There is a large games room that has a pool table, table football and child friendly darts, there are also a few bean bags and a TV, ideal aprés ski activity for children during the evenings.

There is space to park several cars on the driveway and a free car park approximately 150m from the chalet. The chalet has a large garden that can be enjoyed throughout the summer months. During the winter children can have great fun playing in the snow.
